I got this as a gift for my nephew whose interests and skills are similar to mine. It arrived in a few days and of course was instantly useful. The tank is the right size to be carried around to job sites to run a nail gun or to the driveway to air up tires. It comes with an inflator and gage. If you only have a small pancake compressor, this is a way for you to multiply your compressed air utility at a reasonable price.Arrived on time, well packaged, as described, works well. BUT. IT. STINKS! Nothing like the typical plastic/rubber smell of something from China... I bought this over a year ago... it smelled so bad (as a few others had noted) that I left it outside that whole time waiting for it to somewhat "unstink" itself, then finally put it on my small air tank; luckily, it stays in my truck toolbox not in my garage (couldn't stand that). Even now, whenever I handle it, I have to wash my hands to get the stink off. Makes me wonder just how toxic this thing might be!Fit perfectly. I used a little thread tape and had no leaks. Goes on the valve with no problem. I’d buy again when neededI could not figure out from the product description whether the tank comes with a manifold, gauge and hose, so I ordered each of these for an additional amount. The items are clearly made by the same company but may be of slightly better quality. The valve wheel is plastic, on the added manifold it is metal with a knurled edge. My biggest grievance was that the manifold it came with was stuck in threads that had been painted yellow. No wonder these tanks leak. I unstuck the manifold, and used a wire plumber's brush to remove the paint from the threads, then put teflon tape on the extra manifold. I worried that little bits of paint might stay in the tank and clog the airways, so I blew it out with a compressor. But really, who paints the threads on a fitting that has to hold 125 psi?No more leaks!!!The hose fit and works perfect .Love that it doesn't have any plastic parts. I used it to replace the worn out leaky manifold on a portable air tank. She's now held for weeks @ 125psi for several weeks with out any leakage; not even a 1lb.Also replaced @ the same time... The crappy 1/8" side threaded plastic air psi guage & 1/4" touchy 2ft air hose while i was at it. New replacements are an 1/8" x 1/4" threaded elbow, a 1/4" bottom threaded oil filled 160psi/1100kPa guage, a 1/4" thread x 25' coiled air hose w/female chuck, a regulator controlled locking tire fill valve with digital guage & a male chuck, and finally an air blower w/male chuck. Now she's ready for blowing out spark plug holes this summer b4 removing plugs. Plus the greatest thing is, i can fill some low tires w/o stooping over and forced to hold down the sloppy short hosed fill valve still losing half your air and then having to guesstimate the tire psi b4 stopping to check tire psi, again losing more air as you check psi with a manual guage.Screwed directly into an old tank I had. Was perfect for making a remote air tank. Unit doesn't leak even when not used for weeks. Good quality, and value.Metal on off vaulve much better as the old vaulve was plastic and broke.Very handy product, I have been searching for such manifold for a while.Very compact and working perfectly. I'm using it on a small portable tank.Recommended product!I use this primarily to keep my tires topped up. This tank holds its pressure.My only complaint is that the connector on the hose to the tire is not adjustable.My old one was and I was able to turn the connector to whatever position the tire valve was in, making it much easier to top up. I will take the hose off my old tank and replace the one that came with it.I don't know what they used for thread sealant but it leaked like crazy when I got it and due to the crustiness of the sealant they used still leaks after putting proper pipe dope. Pretty sure it's the valve but in a pinch it works well and holds 100 psi for about a month or so if you reef on the valve.I was a little reluctant to purchase this tank manifold at first after reading some of the reviews about the plastic knob. I decided to buy it anyway, as my air tank is on the older side and it isn't worth putting an expensive air tank manifold on it. I was very surprised to discover that the one I ordered is IDENTICAL to the one in the picture, with a METAL knob! Anyway, I hooked everything up and I'm good to go again. Package also indicates lifetime warranty.
