Took a chance on this given the terrible reviews. My 230V Husky 5HP compressor quit and I went through the process of testing the capacitors and the motor, and I replaceed the start capacitor but she still wouldn't fire? Motor tested fine? No shorts? So this new motor was cheap enough I just took a chance. But when I installed it it also wouldn't run? Turns out the pressure control switch connection was bad. This has points on it like an old GM. Now I have a spare motor as my original, as suspected was fine. Be sure to test the pressure switch. Mine was delivering 230V but one of the contacts had fused itself and caused a no start condition. Either that or it wasn't delivering the amperage required but still delivered 120V on each leg...Then new motor was well packaged and works fine, but as others have observed, only time will tell.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008JVM43I?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
