Product Description

Brand new 1/2” npt by 3/8” compression air compressor in tank check valve, with 1/8” female npt threads on the side for un-loader port. Check valves are used to prevent backflow of air. This style is used to directly screw into the air tank and keep pressure from leaving the tank and putting pressure against the compressor pump once the compressor is shut off. This item is made in the united states by CONRADER CO. Specifications: -Air inlet threads: 3/8” compression which measure about 16/32” in diameter -Outlet male threads: _” npt which measure about 26/32” in diameter these threads are the male threads that screw into the air tank. -Side un-loader port: 1/8” female npt threads, which measure about 10/32” in diameter. This port is used for a un-loader line, some compressors do not have this if yours does not you would just plug this port.

Installed valve today works like a dream $30 repair..love itMy compressor would not hold the air into the tanks - due to an aged and faulty valve that allowed the air to flow back. No direct replacement valve could be found - but this generic valve functions perfectly. I just made sure that I matched my old valve dimensions to the specs listed in the ad. Just use a ruler to verify the diameters (xx/32") of the male or female points of attachment. An easy $10 fix to an otherwise working compressor. The Kobalt 220v 3.7 HP 60 gallon compressor I own was leaking out the bleeder valve (has a tube/nut that goes to the motor) located on the regulator box. That is what I thought was damaged logically but after some research it was recommended to change the check valve first. Well its discontinued but this had the correct threads for the tank and the motor tube/nut and since I couldn't find anything locally, decided to give it a shot.I did have to use a 1/8 NPT plug since there's no use for that with my model compressor. It totally fixed the leakingissue at the bleeder valve and was easy to install. No long term review but if your valve is discontinued like mine, this will work if you plug the extra 1/8 npt port. I give it 4 stars as it's technically not perfect for my compressor but that's not a fault of a product designed for a different model. Hopefully this lasts 13 years like the original. After 20 years my Porter Cable 15 gallon air compressor was leaking air as fast as it could pump it in. After a little research I figured out my check valve had gone bad. It took about an hour to swap the old check valve out and the new one fit right in. No more leaks! I’m good for another 20 years! It fits, and it's working. I did however, as someone else mentioned, I had to drill out the lip inside the valave to be able to get the air feed line to fully seat and used a small dremel sander to smooth out the inside. So far its hold up.Edit: Reduced to one star, I unfortunately have to report that within a few cycles of the air compressor the part failed and started leaking internally. I have requested a replacement.Unfortunately, the UPS store is a half hour drive, to return the part. Not sure why Amazon chose to only allow returns from a UPS store but it's a PITA and seriously reduces the value of my membership. The price of which, just went up...---This is what I needed for a basically obsolete part. The manufacturer no longer makes the compressor and the replacement part from them was $88!While not an exact match to the OEM part, this was close enough, and more importantly, it resolved my problem. This check valve works perfectly for my Craftsman 919.152922 air compressor (reusing the unloader adapter from the original A19712 check valve). The 15 psi break pressure required to open the valve so air can flow into the tank is considerably higher than that of the failed valve but would not present a problem for even the smallest pump. Highly recommended!I purchased a used 30 Gallon Sanborn upright air compressor. Once I got it home I discovered a small leak... After some research I found that this would "probably" be just the fix it needed... Well I am happy to announce it worked like a charm! I would highly recommend this part to anyone who needs a New Check Valve!
