My city gets hot for just a few days in the year and I needed a cheap but high power AC (coz the room is big). Saw this brand at my doctor's office and I remembered that it did a great job cooling their office room. So decided to go with it especially coz it was cheap.My living room is about 500+ sqft and it worked very well to keep the room nice and cool. Even on the hottest day, the room was at cool / bearable temperature. Overall, would recommend this for short term use.
