I bought this compressor to replace the original AC compressor in my 2004 MINI Cooper S.The dealer price on an OEM AC compressor was over $1000, but they were more than willing to install a remanufactured or third-party compressor.My only reservation about the Delphi was that it was so low-priced that some corners might have been cut in its manufacture.After getting my MINI back from the dealer and running the AC system through a series of short drives over the weekend, I took it on an extended test -- a 7-hour, 400 mile drive from Los Angeles to Sacramento.The compressor ran like a champ. It cooled the car more than adequately (MINI AC systems are, shall we say, a bit deficient in that regard), and never complained. A month later, it's still going strong.Overall, I have to say that this compressor is a good, solid value.
